Spring detox: Whatever is pure, right & little bit dirty

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Luke 6:38 NIV)

I shared a ‘praise report’ with someone recently, lathered in God’s blessings. Her response to me was “sounds like Luke 6:38 in action, in your life”.

It stopped my heart and humbled me to tears.

I knew that I had ‘paid my dues’ and knew that it would take some sacrifices, potential persecutions &  relentless plowing of fields. I patiently (not always so willingly) waited and worked on what I could feel in my gut God was doing. There were times I felt pregnant with pure expectation, something brand new was being birthed.

After reading this scripture it was if I had an epiphany of the right definition of what inneractive really is. It’s pure desire to help people find their own potential. To show everyone their own worth. To shed the years of lies, torment, abuse, self deprivation, self defeating behavior and negative mind sets and finally reveal the pure person.
I’ve never attempted to create a fitness regimen, a get fit quick program, a drink this-eat that- look like wow false hope system. I can only share what’s pure and what’s right.

I can’t promise you perfect. I can promise you process.

I can’t promise you fail proof.  I can promise you full #proof.

I can’t promise you flawless. I can promise you pure & right!

Detoxing is as much flushing your body of the toxic stuff that’s weighing you down physically, as it is de-cluttering your mind of the junk that clouds your thoughts and distracts you from knowing what is pure and right.

This past week, one of my fitness inspirations Oxygen Magazine‘s Robert Kennedy passed away. Paying respects to the fitness truth, honesty & integrity of Oxygen Magazine, THANK YOU for teaching me how to train my body pure & right!

Last but not least, just remember that every seed needs a little dirt to grow!
